My MS Outlook just decided I no longer needed any of the emails I had in my "inbox". They have all vanished, and I can no longer receive email from shaw through outlook. I have to go to web mail to read them.
I want a new program. What do you guys use? Any suggestions?
I am currently running XP, but apparently I was a victim of software piracy, and can no long receive updates from MS.

I haven't used it, but I hear Thunderbird is ok (Mozilla).

you might just need to remap your pst file on your outlook to get your emails back...

I prefer Microsoft Office Outlook. Much Better program. Are you sure you cant read emails through shaw? Ive been reading emails through ms office outlook using shaw. There is a guide on shaw how to set up your shaw to work on your microsoft outlook. Please use the search function, as the shawmail topic has been discussed.

PST file: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/.pst
Try searching for *.pst. If you find it and can't open it in outlook, try running scanpst.exe. You can find scanpst in C:\Program Files\Common Files\System\MSMAPI\1033.
You might want to check your server information too. If you live in Red Deer, you want to use shawmail.rd.shawcable.net for incoming and outgoing email.
