He's selling b/c he's moving back to Hong Kong. You don't have to take my word but I bought something and everything went well.

not anywhere in the world.

some intercarrier messages don't work. this is not because of a phone it is because of the carriers.

some carriers have agreements with other carriers so they can send text between networks. I have not had trouble sending text to my friends with Fido, Rogers, or Telus from my Tmobile account in the states. As well I've sent and received text to all over Europe.

Certain carriers also loose text messages more compared to others. I saw a stats sheet on it but don't remember how each provider performed.

Yes some do but all the carriers in the world don't.

Right, it you have to check with the carrier if they do have a text plan agreement with other carriers.

Because he text messages his family in HK. so blah blah bs bs blah blah.
