Does anyone know how to fix this or even what's wrong with it? My remote won't respond to the car when I try a cold start. I can't even get it to unlock the doors. I have to start the car manually and after it warms up, then it works fine. It only started happening when it got really cold outside. I have the 2W900FMR

Did you change the batteries in the remote?
When you start it do you have the blockheater plugged in?

If the car is not plugged in when it hits below minus -20 or whatever that could be why it won't start at all. I had that happen to me once because it wasn't plugged in, it wouldn't start.

It's not that fact that the car won't start, it's just that the system won't even respond to my remote. Yes it's new batteries in my remote. Weird thing is that if I try to unlock the doors, nothing happens. But if I set off the car alarm, the remote recieves it. (Lol but I can't turn off the alarm because the remote won't respond back)

Where did you get it installed at? How long ago was it installed? Do you happen to have the one way remote that came with it?
