View Full Version : The cause of Global Warming can be traced to Coca Cola companies worldwide

Coca Cola is a severe cause of global warming to a maximum degree. this is because coca cola has bases in countries around the world and in the US, all of which emit CO2 as result of making.

http://www.asmera.nl/asmara132.jpg

these trucks and factories all have a negative impact on our earths solar system, because of the nocturnal emissions that can be found in the smoke from the factories. this causes co2 to be in the atmoistphere and then the sun light gets trapped into the earth and can make it too hot for ice. this is why the ice is melting in the polar areas.
the polar bears are running out of places to live

http://img.timeinc.net/time/daily/2007/facelift/polarbear_0103.jpg

but luckily they have coca cola! right?!

http://images.art.com/images/PRODUCTS/large/10054000/10054253.jpg

WRONG! coca cola company is directly responsible for global warming, let alone the countless deaths it has caused in the international community with its overwhelming amount of high fructose corn syrup (aka POISON!). it is causing our earths population to be FAT, and for to be GLOBALLY HOT. this is not good.

please, boycott this drink. it is a terrorist.

Do you really boycott Coke or choose to say that because you don't drink cola?

anyone

While I don't support coke in their quest for world domination I am calling :bullshit: on this project.

I'll acquiesce that Coke may be a factor of global warming if they even produce emissions, but they are ceritanly not highly correlated.

If this is a university project maybe post your references as this currently is totally ridiculous. Furthermore, do you even know what a "nocturnal emission" is? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nocturnal_emission

If this a joke, it's funny; if this really is a university project I strongly suggest you drop out immediately.

As long as you dont store them in a "Beer Fridge" as that would help Canada to contribute to global warming.

Beyond should start requiring sources for bullshit rhetoric.

Swiss Cheese is responsible for the Holocaust and Graham Crackers are why Africans have AIDS. You heard it here first.

Well that's a blatant internet lie since pretty well every real researcher on the planet agrees that there were no accurate or accepted polar bear numbers form 1970.

However, they DO agree that 60% of the world's polar bears live in Canada, and some regions, like the western Hudsons Bay area, have seen a 22% decrease in polar bear populations since the early 1980's (a period from which there are some numbers).

Soda on average has 6g of CO2 per liter. Most of the CO2 used to carbonate beverages is 'recovered' CO2.
That is essential 2g per can.

Now compare that to the CO2 produced by the Semi-trucks used to ship the product all over the world.

For every liter of diesel fuel burned, 2.7kg of CO2 is release(2.5kg for gasoline). thats 450 times more CO2.

However, interesting numbers for you.

Total Liters of Coke Produced worldwide in 2002 - 118,970,085,100 Liters
X 0.006g =
713,820,511 kg's of CO2

713,820.5 Metric Tons of CO2 is contained in the Coke that makes it to the shelf. I'm not sure how much is used in production and not accounted for in the my calculations.

. Now compare this to the total CO2 emissions world wide.

27,245,758,000 metric tons total worldwide

Coca colas C02 emissions from their product is 0.0026% of the CO2 problem worldwide.

So now brings us to the logical concern. How can Coca-cola release so much CO2 out of their product without us doing something to stop them? Simple. Coca-cola does not produce the CO2. It is 'recovered' CO2. This CO2 was going to be emitted directly to the athmosphere if Coca-cola or some other company didn't provide a demand for it. The petroleum refineries simply have measures in place to capture, store and sell.

Now everyone, drive to the store in your car, burn one liter of gas on the way and buy a can of coke. What did you do that contributed to the problem??
