Description : For sale is my 2003 Black Magic Pearl 20th Anniversary GTI. The car has 78,XXX kms and has always been professionally serviced at the dealership (all service records included). This car is 1 of 200 special 20th Anniversary editions sold in Canada in 2003. I am the original owner and factory ordered the car from 5th Avenue Auto Haus.

Over the course of owning the car I have added some tasteful modifications. I am selling this car as a complete package and currently will not be parting it out. The following is a list of features (both standard and additional):

VEHICLE FEATURES

In addition to Volkswagen’s standard features, the 20th Anniversary GTI came from the factory with a host of upgrades to distinguish it from the standard GTI. The differences are comprised of:

- Lower, stiffer sport suspension
- Larger brakes borrowed from the Audi TT (12.3” front / 10.1” rear)
- Red brake calipers
- 18” x 7” OZ Aristo wheels w/ Michelin Pilot Sport tires
- Remus sports exhaust
- 6-speed MQ350/02M350 transmission w/ “golf ball” shift knob
- Perforated leather with grey stitching on handbrake lever and shift boot
- Brushed aluminum trim on interior (dash, doors and door lock pins)
- 20th Anniversary-specific instrument cluster
- Headlights with blacked-out internals
- Recaro sport seats
- Black headliner
- ESP – Electronic Stability Program (a rare option)
- Votex body kit (front valence, side skirts, rear valence, hatch spoiler)
- 20th Anniversary-specific badging (red GTI logos on grill & hatch + rabbit icon)

Notable standard features include:

- Power locks w/ remote
- Heated mirrors
- Factory alarm w/ immobilizer
- Traction control
- ABS
- Power sunroof
- Air conditioning
- Dual front & side impact airbags

EXTRAS

WHEELS (3 sets included)

- 19” x 8.5” Axis Supermesh wheels w/ Yokohama AVS Sport tires (4000km on tires)
- 18” x 7” OZ Aristos (stock wheels w/ Michelin Pilot Sports)
- 16” x 6.5” steelies w/ Michelin Pilot Alpins

BRAKES / SUSPENSION

- Brand new slotted rotors / ceramic pads (professionally installed 3000km ago)
- H&R “Race” springs (professionally installed 3000km ago)
- Neuspeed 28mm rear sway bar (professionally installed 8000km ago)

ENGINE

- Neuspeed cold air intake
- Neuspeed turbo inlet pipe
- Upsolute ECU programming (210hp / 250lb/ft)
- N75 “J” valve

INTERIOR

- VW OEM Navigation System (stock Monsoon head unit included, as well)
- 6-disc CD changer
- R-32 steering wheel
- Euro headlight switch (bypasses daytime running lights)
- R-line floor mats (summer)
- GTI Monster mats (winter)

EXTERIOR

- Euro taillights (RSSR)
- Clear corner side marker lights
- Aluminum stubby antenna
- OEM HID’s w/ Laminex (purchased brand new for $1,800 five months ago / will also include stock headlights, as well)

The car is in great shape and runs very strong. There are a few normal signs of age such as small stone chips on the front bumper and a crack in the windshield (thank-you Deerfoot Trail for both of those). The interior is very clean and has never been smoked in or abused. No weird smells, stains, or scuffs.

As I mentioned previously, the car has had every service completed on schedule by the dealership and I have recently replaced the brakes at all four corners (rotors and pads). The car has no mechanical problems and is a hoot to drive. With its winter shoes put on it’s also very capable in the snow. It has even been better in the winter than the Jeep TJ I drove when I was younger!

I am setting the price at $25,500 as-is, or $22,500 without the 19" rims (18" stock rims and winters will still be included). For the condition of the car as well as everything that is included I believe this is a more than fair asking price. I do not wish to get into debates on this price, nor do I want this thread to turn into a “I can get the same car in the US for way cheaper”. Again, I will not be parting out the car right now so please do not ask. If I choose to part out the car I will create a new thread and update the price accordingly on this one.

I will be happy to have any prospective buyer over to view the car in our heated underground parkade. Just get in touch with me via PM and we can set up an appointment. No test pilots please.

I’ve included some pictures and will be updating with some interior shots this weekend.

Cheers!

Doubt it's in as good of condition as this one either.... what a sick ride.

I'd sell it for $21K without the 19" wheels, HIDs and OEM Navigation. I really would just rather sell everything as a whole than part it out. So I guess that makes it a bit cheaper than your blue one. Oh wait, mine would still have brand new uprated brakes, euro tails, chipped ECU, intake, rear sway bar, turbo inlet pipe, R-line steering wheel....

It would seem the one at your work is the one that is over-priced, mate.

My friend picked it up in Europe. They aren't available in North America. If you want one you can check eBay or vwvortex.com. Be prepared to spend $1000 - $1500.

I have a sale pending (someone getting their financing approved), but it's been a few days since I heard back from them.

So in short, no, it hasn't sold yet.

BUMP - I'm waiting to hear back from a few people if they want the car as-is, otherwise I will be parting out some stuff. I've got some people lined up for a couple of the parts already so I've indicated them with a "spoken for" next to them. But feel free to shoot me a PM if you want them as deals might fall through, etc.

If I go ahead with the part-out I'll sell the car for $19,500 without these parts:

- 19” x 8.5” Axis Supermesh wheels w/ Yokohama AVS Sport tires (4000km on tires / wheels are super clean, completely straight and in excellent condition) - $1,900

http://www.crmdevelop.com/pics/car.jpg

- Neuspeed 28mm rear sway bar - $200 spoken for

- VW OEM Navigation System - $600

http://www.crmdevelop.com/pics/nav2.jpg

- R-32 steering wheel - $250 + stock 20th / GLI wheel (spoken for)

http://www.crmdevelop.com/pics/interior1.jpg

- Euro taillights - $180 + stock GTI tails

http://www.crmdevelop.com/pics/back_side.jpg

- OEM HID’s w/ Laminex (purchased brand new for $1,800! at the end of the summer) $1,250
