No Country For Old Men

Saw this movie on the weekend. I am a pretty big fan of Cormac McCarthy novels and thought the Coen brothers nailed this one.

Really good movie. Javier Bardem was an INCREDIBLE villain.

One thing though. Before you watch the movie realize that Cormac McCarthy books NEVER end with a wrapped up happy ending and actually end rather abruptly.

There were groans when the movie ended by the masses that wanted a conclusion. The movie is more about a common theme and the movie was great if you weren't hoping for a regular brainless Hollywood movie.

I was way too ripped for this movie. In my state, I couldn't figure out the point of any of it. Im also not a big fan of serial killer movies, so maybe im a bad judge.

The sound of that silenced shotgun was fucking cool though...
