Hey... I'm still a fairly new rider so everything about the "world of bikes" is new to me.

I was thinking however about heading down to racecity tonight and trying it out. I can control the bike very well and my shifts are starting to be quicker and quicker. However I still dont know how to launch properly on a bike (what RPMs to rev at and how fast a should drop the clutch and how i should stand on the bike and stuff)

can anyone help me out??? (i have a 600 btw)

I don't think you need to launch a bike... you'll just keep doing burnouts...

take your time. practice launches somewhere quiet and be careful with the clutch. gixxers can launch really hard and to much rpm and the bike is gone from under you.

most ppl who try clutch drops jump in the air violently and come down.

From what I've seen feathering the clutch yeilds the best launch.
