^ Ya I know but when you're sick with the flu, coughing like a madman and nauseous, the last thing on ur mind is going to the store while its stuffed with people pushing their way through a crowd to save a couple bucks

I have a 1.6 GHz Pentium 4 with a Gigabyte motherboard and a 40gb hd, the case isnt pretty so you might want to pick up a cheap one from memx should have a gig of memory lying around too...

Trade for a 26 of Jack Daniels :)

Try this one out at best buy:

http://www.bestbuy.ca/catalog/proddetail.asp?sku_id=0926INGFS10097097&catid=20217&logon=&langid=EN

It'll probably work out to less than 240 delivered w/ tax

I got a Pentium 4, 1.8 GHz HP Desktop from a while ago with 512MB Ram running at 266 MHz, with 80GB HDD, with a CD writer plus a Floppy Drive!! can't really get that on dekstops anymore.

It should suffice your needs as you mentioned and it will be in the HP tower which is decently small and still decent looking. Also, if you really really want 1GB, you could probably pick it up for around 40 bucks at memx and the total would still be under your $300 budget.

I'm looking for around $150 .. PM me if you're interested.
