why not just bring it somewhere where yoy can get a warrenty and the peace of mind its done right. Im an installer at visions and you wouldnt believe how many decks we get back after people try to install them thwmselves

werd...I've re-done more than a few installs done by "stores/shops"

...back when i did install for work, we were supervised closely by the store owner, so lax work was not an option...no cold solder joints, tape everything closed, solid connections, run your wires right, etc...

...it's all in the pride of his/her own work!

well he was impatient so I threw it in for him. It was like a no name and it included install...after jan so thats why he didn't wait. I did run into a problem. It's a 3.5 inch in dash screen....he had a pioneer in there b4...so i install the deck and the message "parking on no video" keeps covering the display. There was no orange wire on the deck which was odd...so i connected it to a pink pone labled parking..that fixed it but every time he turns his lights on it comes on. Anyone know how to fix that?

lol that orange odd wire is for dimmer illumination or some shit and the pink one you connected it too is for the e-brake so it doesn't allow you to watch unless the e-brake is up. I believe you have to ground that pink wire out. I may be wrong though
