I passed my beginners motorcycle course, said i wasnt street ready, coming to a complete stop really fast was a bit off i need work on that and he said i didnt Roll onto the throttle soon enough before i enter a cuurve/turn whatever.

im going to get a sportbike "waitwait!" it wont be larger than a 250cc and it wont be any newer than maybe a 1992, just wondering what you think i should get, ive seen some suzukis kawasakis and hondas sportbikes in the 250cc range, but which :) but before i start hitting the street i plan on practicing on breaking more. sorry about my jumbled thread not good at writing apoiw3jti23jq

a 250 ninja maybe? they're small enough displacement and still look reasonably sporty..

a friend of mine has a honda rebel 250 that he might let go for the right price. it needs some work though

go with the ninja 500 the extra power wont scare you and is more suitable on the street.

i totally agree with rice-daddy on that one.
get a 500 ninja. they won't scare you, they are pretty light weight, but better on the highway... I've ridden both and to tell you the truth, you might get sick of the 250 pretty quick...

500 ninja or gs500/550

theyre right, youll tire of the 250, and then youve gotta buy another bike... when you could just spend a tiny bit more and get a much much better bike that has some room to grow.

and if your really stuck on a 250... get a dirt bike ;) :D
