Hi!
We have an '04 Outback. The front sunroof suddenly broke into hundreds of small fragments about the size of your little finger nail. It is being held together by some sort of laminating film.
Two interesting points:
1. There is no sign of any impact damage.
2. All breakage is confined to the clear portion. The black shading around the edges is still intact.
The car has not seen any temperature extremes, high or low, in several months.
Any comments?
