I have to decide between these cars by the end of this weekend, any suggestions??

2000 Celica GT
144,000 km
Buying from a Toyota Dealership

2003 Accord LX-G Coupe
72,000 km
Buying from a private seller (good guy)

Price is not an object, just can't make a concrete decision regarding which car looks better and would be better overall...

Yeah, go with the Accord. It is 3 years newer and has half the mileage of the Celica.

I would have to agree with what everyone else has said.

I have driven both cars from the generations you have mentioned. The Celica drove like shit and had no power what so ever. It was shaky on the highway at 120+. The Accord is newer, less km, and I personally believe an all around better vehicle.

Good luck with your decision and let us know what you pick up!

There's not even a decision here. Accord V6 > Celica.

Maybe the celica you drove was just simply a P.O.S.

I have driven both types of cars as well, and the celica has
enough power.

But I Must agree, the accord is a much better buy.

GL on the buy.

In that case, I say go with the Celica. Celica > 4 Cyl Accord.

Not really. Even when you're in the very narrow power band it still doesn't feel like enough power. I'd go with the Celica for looks, fuel economy, and reliability. Definitely not power.

Accord is a much nicer car... plus it has only half the kms and you won't get screwed over by dealer pricing!

Overall Accord is much much better (even more so if its a V6)

So? What did you get?

Hey everyone, thanks for your input.
I went with the Accord haha, the decision was unanimous.

Now, I go about the task of adding some exterior features. I don't know much about all the car stuff, to be honest. So any recommendations would be great. Body kit? Skirts?

Thanks again...

Please don't go with any ugly/flashy body kit. At most get some nice rims. Keep it clean:thumbsup:

at most, look into an OEM skirt kit if you want a kit.
