Hello everybody,
I am selling my Compaq Laptop that I purchased from Staples (Calgary) in June of 2005 for $1600 plus tax and warranty. Currently it still has warranty till the end of May 2008 but I am not sure if its transferrable.
The laptop is in perfect shape, except for the minor scratches here and there. The screen works perfectly...no dead pixels.
I would rate its physical condition at about 9/10. It has everything one needs to use it daily and is decently fast. The only downside is that its a 15.4" for those who prefer a smaller laptop like me.
Here's a few details:
- 15.4" BrightView Widescreen (1280 x 800) Display
- 2.2GHz AMD Athlon™64 Processor 3500+ with Cool'n'Quiet™ Technology
- 80GB Hard drive
- 1024MB DDR RAM (1 x 1024MB)
- ATI RADEON® XPRESS 200M IGP
- 8X - DVD Burner/ 24X CD Burner - with Dual Layer Support
- Windows XP Home (Genuine), Microsoft Office 2007, Acrobat Professional, Adobe Designer, Nero and much much more.
- 4 - HI-Speed USB Ports
- 5-in-1 Built-in Card Reader
- upto 3 hours battery life (reliastically lasts about 2 hours on regular use)
- Includes Power Adapter - 90W AC adapter
- 8-Cell Lithium-Ion battery
- Comes with all manuals and accesories including original receipt of purchase if required
Here's some stuff from the internet:
Fax/Modem - high speed 56k modem
Network Card - Integrated 10/100BASE-T Ethernet LAN (RJ-45 connector)
Wireless Connectivity - 54g™ 802.11b/g WLAN with 125HSM/SpeedBooster™ support
Sound - 16-bit Sound Blaster Pro-compatible audio; AC audio link; volume control button and mute button
The laptop still works incredibly fast, even faster than the hp tx1314ca I currently have with Vista on it. (Just cus XP is a more efficient operating system IMO)
The laptop comes with all the original brochures and the original box if required. It also comes with a fresh install of Windows XP Home Edition (LEGAL) and a Microsoft Office 2007, Acrobat Professional 7.0 and a few other interesting software that I use on a regular basis.
$360!
Prospective Buyers are more than welcome to try out the laptop before they buy it.
Thank you for your interest. I hope my price is right... feel free to correct me if I'm wrong. This computer is very fast (not just for its age) so don't try to lowball me.
