heh check this story out...

A motorcyclist who reached the highest speed ever recorded by police on a British road when he was caught riding at 157mph has been jailed for 28 days.Andrew Osborne, 29, from Leamington Spa, appeared in court alongside fellow biker Neil Bolger, 29, of Gaydon, Warwickshire.Aylesbury magistrates heard how on March 25 on the A412 Tingewick by-pass near Buckingham, Osborne was recorded doing 157mph.

wonder what the highest speed in a chase in alberta has been??

cause 157mph doesnt really seem that fast on a bike??? correct me if im wrong lol

ya i guess, but when i think of bike hauling ass i think upwards of 170-180mph. i guess im crazy lol

ZX-12s and Hayabusas are the only bikes that can "cruise" at that speed. And even then, they are near topping out.

252 km/h. thats pretty fast.

the police here did it as a show to other motorists. but they guys were plenty capable of handling the bikes, and they could have gone much faster on them.
