Has anyone here actually bought anything from NewEgg? I'm looking at buying the wife a new camera, and it's around $100 cheaper there. I've emailed them asking if they ship to canada, but I'm impatient. :D

I'm looking at the Canon SD850, but I see the SD750 is a significant amount cheaper. Any shutterbugs have any real opinions between the two?

Biggest differences I can see, 7.2Mp vs 8.0, and 3.0 optical zoom vs 4.0.

no they don't. At one point they were a few months away from launching newegg.ca, but then suddenly backed out and all plans for Canadian on-line presence vanished.
This was last year some time, big thread on redflagdeals about it at the time.

SD850 has image stabilization and sd750 does not, 3" screen on the 750 2.5" on the 850.

And if you want to order camera stuff from the states for cheap i recommend bhphotovideo.com

I got a response. They only ship to US and Puerto Rico. Too bad. However, I ended up picking up the SD850 for a mere 309.00 from Bestbuy on a pricematch.

The wife should like that I hope.
