that is a really nice roadster bike

like how the article says if you can afford a Reventon (http://www.seriouswheels.com/cars/2008/top-2008-Lamborghini-Reventon.htm) and Luvaglio laptop, then this is the bike for you

Mechanical Art. That's all it is.

Do you think the guy that could afford it could really make use of the 200 hp?

Does being rich preclude being a good rider?

Not exactly, but the best riders generally aren't wealthy enough to buy something like this.

It isn't the 200hp I would worry about, it is the 210 ft-lbs!

I think I'd rather have a Y2K

Just a bit quicker...

The Y2K is powered by a Rolls Royce Allison gas turbine engine, and the superbike has demonstrated over 300 hp and 425 ft/lbs of torque on the Dyno Jet 200, and has been clocked at a record-breaking 227 mph.

The only thing that sucks about the Y2K is the throttle response that is measured in handfuls of seconds....think of it like a Civic with a GT55....

I'll take a Ducati Monster S4R for a fraction of the cost over that. Very similar look....

2150cc 's and 200hp? Thats IT?

:banghead:

MV Agusta has their F4CC which is a $120k bike, its 1100cc's a 200hp bike, the cool part is, is that it can eat this thing for breakfast at pretty much everything, for half the price.

Or Ducati's Desmo, which is new this year, at $80k, and also 200hp I believe, which is quite the bargain, considering how close that bike is to a GP bike. GP bikes now are 800cc, and around 250bhp, as the Desmo is a liter bike at only 200hp.. so there is a lot of watered down components, but at least you dont have the remarkible maintence schedules as do the GP bikes.

Because it is a huge stroke, low revving V-twin, not a screaming short stroke 4-cyl, hence why the torque is more than double what a liter bike puts out.

By the way, it is also supercharged....
