Better yet, instead of going to buy a lottery ticket, go buy your 2008 sticker.

The ticket is void but I believe you'll have to go down to the court and ensure that happens. I have had a ticket where the office missed the offense date which is one of the requirements. All it said was January 2006. no date. I went in to plead not guilty for that reason. They told me that because it was missing the date they would void it instead of putting it before a judge to void. Funny think though is had I gone to pay the ticket, they would have let me.

So i'd definitely go down there so some clerk doesn't misread it and still enter it into the system where it will haunt you later.

indeed, but I have valid reasoning for not having the sticker on when I received the ticket

STFU-pay the damn ticket. Excuses are like assholes-everybody's got one, and they all stink.

Which would be?

There is no excuse for driving a car without a current registration. Lucky you though.

Of course they may look at it and say you're almost a year late for paying it

I really don't intend on sharing my personal life on a car forum. My question's been answered, thanks for the help!
