Hey guys I'm having some difficulty thinking up good stocking stuffers for the lady. The only things I can think of are jewelery and maybe a spa/massage gift certificate. But I'd rather do more smaller cost items...

Any ideas? I'd greatly appreciate it.

Bath stuff... from a brand like Lush.

Candles could be a possibility (but skip the dollar store.)

Some of the things i put in my girlfriend's stocking included a burberry scarf, a 30gig ipod (on sale at laptop depot for $159) and some ear rings.

I got my girl a gift card to Lulu Lemon since I don't know what to get here from there, a bracelet, and another gift card to Aritzia.

The majority of my gf's stocking is filled with toiletries. I took stock of her bathroom, and bought much of the same stuff. Then I threw in some dark chocolate which she likes, and a silver necklace.

Good stuff keep em coming I will be braving the malls soon. And the "Cock in the Sock" was the first thing I thought of, I'm glad there's others with similar mindsets :)

Bernard Callibeaut chocolates seldom go wrong. It says "I didn't cheap out" and "You're not fat" all in one shot.

First off her ear rings were cheap (betsy johnson), no crazy diamonds or anything over here.

For her actual gift I'm paying her living expenses for her next semester in Vancouver.

Go to Sephora and just grab a bunch of little goodies like mini eyeliner, compact mirrors, stuff like that. Or just get her a Sephora gift certificate.

I second the chocolate route that Sigma mentioned.

Sentimental christmas ornaments. Hallmark and Carlton carries tons of them. Girls go nuts for stuff like that (especially if they have their own xmas tree)

I also recommend a g/c for a massage or something from merle norman. Appx $50 or so I think. Concert or play tickets are nice too. Beauty and the Beast (the live theatre production) is coming to calgary in march (I think, could be a different month but definately in early 2008) I dont know a single girl who didn't LOVE beauty and the beast when they were young. Tickets are on sale now and there are tons of dates to choose from, almost a whole month's worth.

Go to the chatters hair place, and they always have buckets of differnt hair/nail and other small items for like 1 or 2 dollers each. Perfect for stockings. Shoppers is also a good place.

Gum, gift certs for supper and movies, gift cert for massage or facial, chocolates.

Be creative and make it like a theme stocking, wrap up like a bag of microwave popcorn, candle sticks, then have like movie/theatre tickets in there and a gift cert for a nice supper or something, then have like some slippers or those packets of face masks in there then a gift cert for a facial or massage :)

Every stocking that I have to fill gets a gift card from Starbucks or Tim Hortons, depending on their pleasure.

I have a 13 inch old school GE TV in my room, haha.

Mitts are a good idea too, I usually lose mine every year and can use new ones.
