Yes, this car is FWD.

Its a 1989 corolla that I bought a few years ago, and I really need to get rid of. It was originally red and blue. The corolla was red, and it had a blue front clip from a JDM Trueno GTZ.

The clip included the upgraded supercharged MR2 engine, which produces about 170-180hp. The hood scoop, and the foglights were never sold over in North America as well.

I did a DIY paint job, as the car was not worth a paintjob, and I ended up with a pretty good paintjob. It's not great paint, but it looks better then any other average 1989 corolla. And its no longer red and blue. Some of the front end fenders dont line up perfectly, but its not terrible.

Anyway

The Good.

New fluids all around, tranny, coolant, engine etc.

really quick and good for gas too (500kms on a 50L tank)

has fairly new winter tyres on it, (khumo kw11's with studs that have seen one winter)

new windshield

new brakes + an extra set of front pads

will pass safety

The Bad

The hood scoop was vandelized this past summer and I repaired it myself, it was fixed, then rebroken by another idiot. So it never really turned out great after that. So it can either be left, as it doesn't look that bad. Or replaced with another hood scoop from another car.

The tachometer doesn't work, due to the incompatibility between the engine iginition systems.

The coolant temperature gauge doesn't work, I have a new autometer coolant gauge that will be thrown in with the sale, but I can assure people that the car runs perfectly at 90 degrees with an infrared heat gun.

The car only comes with winter tyres, the previous summer tyres developed really large flat spots, and the summer rims were bent from sitting on flat rims for so long, so it only has the ugly white rims.

There is rust in the rear fender wells, this is normal for any japanese car from 1989, there isn't a lot, but just some around the edges of the wheel well.

A/C Does not work.

PICS

yes I noticed the red paint on the headlight lol, I'll change those out before sale, they were getting dim anyway

Sorry, I forgot to take a pic of the engine haha, I'll try to get one soon, but I was using a borrowed camera

The chasis has about 280,000 and the engine I'm guessing has about 110,000kms on it, (I was told 80,000kms when I got it, but I'm shooting higher)

Totally forgot to add that in :nut:
