Luckiest rally car fan (http://www.dpccars.com/car-videos/12-23-07page-Luckiest-rally-car-fan.htm)
Why would you run in the direction of the car?? Also I think he would have cleared the car had the driver not hit the post.

For the last two years and older EG hatch is holding western Canadian championship title.
Late model Civis are a very popular platforms to build "grupe n" car. 200 hp in very light shell, independent suspension and Macpherson struts make this car a very desirable for production class where mods are prohibited.
check out the number of civics in for sale section
http://www.rallycarsforsale.net/clas/index.php?ct=&md=browse&mds=search&brief_key=civic&before=
In five generation and over thirty years of production there was one very distinctive feature on all golf's - very big, fat c pillar.
I think its a EG civic

I beg to differ. I think THIS is the luckiest spectator during a rally race:

Agreed - missed the concept of running at right angles to the car's travel. And not standing on the outside of a freakin' turn.
@Kloubek: He don't count. He's an official. There are luckier spectators out there, too - I have seen at least two videos of cars flying completely over people - one was (IIRC) Makinen in Argentina nearly 10 years ago and another was a regional event somewhere in Europe that was on one of those wildest video shows.

That'd be an ad banner at roadside... car could be a SEAT or any other euro hatch too, FWIW.

Regarding the first vid, if he wasn't paying attention to the car, he wouldn't have moved and he wouldn't be hit.
