Nicest looking Honda yet!

Haven't actually seen the new Accord yet. Looks very nice. Much more sporty looking than previous versions.

For some wierd reason, I haven't seen very many of these on the streets... IMO the new 08's look the best so far, but I've only seen 2 in the 2-3 months they've been out...

You guys think I should add a rear spoiler or leave it clean?

BTW it's Belize Blue Pearl

Yea, the gf and I tossed the idea of the v6, but we wanted to keep it manual, and the 6spd doesn't have the VCM, and only gets like 20 mpg...with gas prices expected to hit 1.40-1.50 this summer...

Spoiler would be the OEM one. I want to try and keep it clean.

ya I didn't like that i couldnt get a manual...but w/e :) it is quick...and quite at the same time. There is no difference between 70 and 140. The car is smooth.

:'( It would be better if it was manual though...

I am surprised how quick it is for the type of power it has. Did you opt for navi?

The one thing that kind seems a bit off, is the big "bum" the car has. Almost Quest reminicent...I don't usually like spoilers, but I think it may help diffuse the big bum look...

Regardless of gas prices, it only gets 20 mpg. The additional 10 mpg was worth the 80hp, as this car is plenty quick with 190. I'd say quicker than my DC5, with 10 less hp and probably 50% heavier...

Was there much room to deal? With some dealers offering discounts to match US pricing is Honda giving low lease/finance rates?

To me that car looks no where near a BMW.

My understanding was that the V6 with the manual was under rated.

Nice car, but accords are getting so BIG. The sedan is as big or bigger than the RL now.

Nice ride. You need some tint all around on that. Think it would look awesome.

They are definitely getting big. Too big imo. I drove one before I bought my E90 thinking I should get something more sensible (I have a 1 year old and a second baby on the way) and with more room than my old E46 but they were just too big. They are almost as long as a Chrysler 300. Plus the ride and handling just wasn't there imo. Not to mention that although it looks way better than the boring old accords, that front end is just horrible looking in person.

But not to be all negative, that is a very good car for the class it is in and you really can't go wrong with it. Plus the color does look amazing. :)

I went for a ride in one of these and it's quite peppy for a 4 cylinder accord, but it's far from quiet. It's really loud on acceleration, even in low revs.

The only time I found it to be quiet is when the car was at a traffic light idling.

I would have to agree that this is a huge car. To be honest I didn't even take a coupe out for a spin... I walked around the coupe at T&T twice and sat in it once, but was quite surprised when I picked her up how big she is...Oh well I like so all is good. IMO they aren't the quietest things, but I like the engine sound.

Tint along with 3m should hopefully be on shortly after the new year, when my bank acct's have recovered...Thinking maybe 30% all around. Or is that too dark? Should I keep it once shade, or dark/back, lighter/front?

Forgot to ask, did you get the $4k Honda Canada rebate and then some bargain room on top? With the grad rebate on top of that, you should be able to get a good $6k off the sticker price pretty easily.

We didn't get any cash or grad rebates, as neither applied to our situation. I do think we did get a fairly good deal ($60/mo less than T&T, lowest no bs price btw) and to boot High River has an awesome service plan!

Oh wait, are you refering to actual Honda Canada rebates or the cash incentives? We are leasing so no cash incentives. When we were talking numbers we did not discuss how much of a discount was from Honda Canada and how much was dealer bargaining, but we got about 4.5k total off sticker price.
