Saab 9-5 Aero TURBO w/ RARE aero kit:
silver:
black leather:
Auto :
120,000km:
Calgary:
Beautiful car. Car was recently imported from the U.S in great working order, car fax = clean. Bad luck - headgasket blew last weekend and engine is toast.

Vehicle has:
- never been in an accident
- passed all inspections (prior to h/g failure)
- brand new tires (Summer '07)
- rare aero kit
- all alignment adjusted, runs on rails.
- new brakes (Summer '07)
seller has all receipts to prove recent work

If you are looking for a sharp looking car- this is the one. Owner does not want to deal with fixing head gasket and therefore could be simple fix or cost low $$$ for the right person.

Let's start at $5100 OBO:

car has passed all inspections and is fully registered in Alberta.

low balls considered (reasonable ones)

- pics are old (when my friend imported it about 5 months ago) - car has Alberta plates and does not have the front plate cover on it anymore

Hi, this is my car. It is fully registered in Alberta.

The engine starts but oil comes out from the top of the engine throught the oil cap. When the car is stationary the engine rattles and shakes a bit, once in gear it shakes alot.

This is a one of a kind vehicle in Alberta, it unfortunate what's happened, I just don't have time to have it fixed.

If you have more questions, you can PM me directly.

This vehicle looks as sharpe in real as it does in the pictures.

not a good sign :(

compression/exhaust leaking through into the oil system

i wouldn't suspect HG,.. more like rings and/or hole in piston = total rebuild or new engine

sry, not interested anymore :(

if you can prove history of maintenice this may be a free fix. if it is indeed an aero it has the b235r engine, SAAB currently has a special policy on these engines (and the b205 family) due to oil sumps clogging up with sludge. worth a shot, but take it to one of the 3 dealers in town.

p.s. these cars are very notorious with blowing both h/g's and turbos.

hope this may help you.... also, the last saab motor job that went through the shop i was at was an american 9-3 with the b205l engine, dude got a completly brand new engine.
