my wirelss connections keeps cutting out?

so i got a laptop today, and a wireless router, everythign is setup i have a network, its secure, and me and mysister are running on wireless. it works great nice and fast, but the fucking router keeps like rebooting?
yah my run on sentence rules, but can anyone help me out here any ideas to whats the dillllll?

i had one.. kept rebooting..
exchanged it... kept rebooting..
returned it, got a different brand......... never rebooted again...

hahahah when i looked at it this morning, i was like, fuck this looks cheap, i bet it will be hell, why didnt we get a linksys or something.

the weird thing is my trendnet that i got for 10bucks after rebates years ago cuts out less then my shitty d-link that i got 5months ago. stick with a linksys!

Step 1) Update the firmware!
Lots of times rebooting/connection dropping is caused by buggy firmware. I was using a trendnet wireless router for a while, when I turned on WPA I couldn't carry over 10-15k/sec until I updated the firmware, it was also dropping every minute or two.

Been rock solid ever since, best $10 I ever spent :)
