I'm looking to get some work done on an E46 BMW... the transmission is leaking a bit and there's also something wrong with the flexdisc. I've heard some good things about Alpine on here, but that they mostly do high end cars. Would it be worth it to go there to get my transmission leak fixed or is it something that a less reputable shop will be able to handle easily (presumably for a bit less).

Anyone know what their shop rates are? And when they're open this holiday?

*Edit- Forgot to mention, got the pre-purchase inspection done at Apline and they estimated that it'd be about $800 to fix the transmission leak and flexdisc.

It's easier and faster to call them and find out. no?

They're not open today, called and only got the answering machine... was wondering if they'd be open Thurs/Fri or if I'm going to have to wait until after the new year to get the ball rolling.

Alpine Autowerks always treated me great in the past. Now that I work at a dealership no need for me to get my own servicing done there however I send anyone I know with a high end euro car there.

this is the place on 50th? i have seen very nice/high end european cars there for servicing in the summer, seems like they know what they are doing, especially for beamers.

Im almost sure they would service your BMW, Ive heard many of stories on the cars they work on there from the owners son, who I happen to go to school with. Much of there high end work is due to Renn Sport being a store or two down lol.:dunno:?? Alpine does know there stuff though, thats for sure.

Why don't u PM Alpine Autowerks? He's a regular on here.

They share a bay with Rennsport, and is beside old tunerworks.
