find a forum for whatever car you're looking at buying.

This info would be good, usually you'll find a car forum specific to the type of vehicle you're looking for.

Forums can be good, especially if the person you're buying off of is OG and other OGs can vouch for him/her taking good care of the car.

yeah thats a great point. i noticed on forums usually people are more fair about their prices as well as compared to other search sites, and sometimes you run across well modified cars.. if thats what your looking for.

i would avoid dealerships, you never know what your getting, or what their hiding about it

kbb.com, buy certified pre-owned like I did, worth the extra cash for piece of mind IMO.
