Actually that first one isn't technically drifting. That is extremely hard braking and the rear is trying to get in passed the front. By letting the rear slide out like that it squraes of the corner and lets thr rider set up for it. It starts the rotation of the bike before the rider gets to the corner. Very tricky stuff

lol, saw a biker drifting tonight... turned north off whyte ave by the university, straightened her out, then let rip and held the rear tire about 2 feet out of centerline, precisely the same distance out through all the gears. :)
think it was an older yamaha, but it was a black bike and its pretty overcast tonite.

meh, drifting is technically a moving burn out, just while going around a corner, although there are straight line drifts too.
