Does anyone know if these 'trd' ebay keys are any good? my key has totally fallen apart (logos fell off, its bent, discolored) and i thought they looked pretty cool esp with a trd lanyard. just wondering if they are crappy made or not.

Function-wise, they'll probably do the same job as any other key. I've used aftermarket keys before and they were exactly the same as the OEM ones.

It all comes down to looks. I think it looks like a fake ricer key.

well duh. a key is a key as long as its cut the same and is chipped/not chipped. i was wondering more if anyone had ever had one before to tell me if the plastic is going to fall off in 5 seconds or not.

Not all keys are created equal ;)

If a key is made from a metal that is too soft, it might break off in the tumbler. If it's made from a metal that's too hard, it will wear out the pins in your ignition tumbler instead of the pins wearing out the key. This is a much more expensive repair!
