front bumper painted and changed (i have the new bumper), rear vender needs a bit of work (not major) and needs a couple of the tie rods replaced... i did a 1/2 doughnut in the winter and hit a parked car...

well i had a chance to look at this car today and just wanted to let u know the damage isent as little as u say , for example your rear bumper needs to be repainted , your side skirts, your quater panel needs to be pulled and painted also , and your front bumper, and the driver side rear suspensiopn is fuked which caused the pasenger side rim to pop out and they both look bent in , so iam pretty sure it needs a whole suspension overhaul

i guess if you are not willing to put some time into it, this is not the car for you...as most mr2s on the market requires work (if you want to own one of these)...thats also why i am selling my rare 93 for such low price...as for the suspension, i took it to a mechanic and i was told it needs new tie rods and tie rod ends, thats it...well a alignment of course... spend about 4-5g in it and it will be perfect again...if you are not willing to spend total of 10g on a 93 mr2, buy a jdm...

the suspension would be candy to fix if you can turn a wrench have a day to spend doing it. anyone with a mechanic friend or is mechanically inclined should check it out

Do you have the tie rods? I had to get one replaced to pass my OOP and it was $400 for one as it had to come from the US.

i dont have the tie rods...my friend quoted brand new ones from toyota would only cost 170 each....if you can spend time on ebay..i saw some for about 40 bux a piece.........

This should have been clearly stated under description and who would want an mr2 that is going to need a new suspension haul when they can get a JDM for a lower price. Please don't be so vague on your responses and expect people to give you positive comments. :thumbsdow

someone who wants a CDN mr2 and not a RHD JDM one maybe? :dunno:

I'd personally rather spend 10 grand( total ) and get a LHD mr2 than spend 7-8000 on a JDM mr2. Freebump:thumbsup:

because not everyone wants to drive on the WRONG side just to save a couple bucks, not to mention put up with the fugly wheels those things come with lol. if i had the time to fix this up i would..the amount it will cost to fix it puts the price of this car still relatively below what you would normally pay for a decent condition mr2.

thank you as well....also, for people who wants to drive jdms and like them so much (i have no idea why, bad resell value and more expensive on insurance, harder to sell) go ahead and get jdms....my panasonic dvd player, year 1993 turbo (last yr in canada), leather interior, fully loaded options, and other aftermarket parts combined is well worth the price just for parts.....

my friend drove it for a few blocks and it was fine....but i dont know if you wanna risk that...plus, the front bumper is not even on the car...so you might get a ticket if a cop sees you...so i would get it towed to your house if i were you

thats a safe quote, but i am sure if you are able to find 2nd hand parts on ebay or something and do it yourself, the cost will cut down by quite a bit...
