haha I actually laughed when I read this. Look I don't mind them on a car where it'll be used. Some of those s2000's don't look like they'd work as well without one...But god putting one on an ek is almost a sin haha. So lame.

I love this thread because it is free of haters for the most part. Nothing wrong with sharing an opinion of if you like something or not, but to hate on everything thats not a legend or some crazy race car is pretty ridiculars. Like riced said, your posts stick out like a sore thumb.

You need to learn to read at past a grade two level. I love all kinds of honda's and no I don't like the wings on cars that don't need them, on cars that are actually tracked and bagged on like real cars they look awesome. I not once attacked cars for any other reason then buddy comes on here and bashes Legends which is fine cuz he's got his own opinion. But no where have I even said anything that even remotely said I only like legends. Fuck I've owned 2 civics (crap by the way) and accord (not as crappy) and two integras (way better than most hondas).

And my posting other honda's clearly indicates that I am only in love with Legends hahaha fuck people are dumb haha. Either way I've posted numerous positive comments on this thread. If you don't like my opinions on wings then good for you but I don't give a flying fuck what people think of my opinion because it's an opinion. Some people like expensive wings on cars that are slower than most on here and thats cool for them. Me I'd rather spend my money on something that will make my car faster not make it look faster despite how slow it is.

I mean 90% of the cars with those wings are probably bone stock, save an intake and exhaust, why in the hell would you need a wing that big if your car isn't even fast enough to make use of it.

I posted a couple s2000's where the wing is clearly and very obviously useful and then again I posted a couple where they are obviously posers posing as people who drive fast cars but probably just get laughed at by a bunch of people in traffic who think that a huge wing on a stock car is just plain dumb.

Meh to each their own. I simply pointed out I'd rather a luxury coupe than a tin can on wheels. I've owned more than one civic and you can feel how thin the floors are and how cheap they are built. For a fast small car once they are built they are fun I'll give you that. But to some people driving an economy shitbox isn't fun. Mine was definitely fast and it was definitely fun. But it's nowhere near the build quality of most Acuras. Even my integra was lightyears ahead in quality over my two civics and even my accord.

And there was definitely nothing gross about that Legend it was one of the simplest and cleanest cars in this thread. And somebody pointed out that there were NO nice legends and I pointed out more than a couple. And I could find more.

I just don't know why people think a civic is the be all end all car. They are meant and always will be economy grocery getters.

An Acura isn't exactly a luxurious car by the way... As well this is an enthusiast forum, although the Legends you have posted may have been nice, they were also very stock. If I wanted to look at a clean stock car I'd probably go to the dealership instead. Although those VIP'd out ones were pretty damn sick. No point bashing another persons car just because you don't have the same tastes. Those who have a huge GT wing on their car and may not look like they should have one, maybe they chose it as it was cosmetically appealing for them. Maybe they can't afford a separate race car that does use and need the GT wing more than their daily driver. But as an enthusiast nothing stops you from wanting to mod your car the way you like it, even if an individual spends thousands of dollars on parts he may not even use. Its reaching your goal as a enthusiast with your car the way you want it. Sometimes it not always about function > form.

Then being an enthusiast website then why am getting slack for not liking something someone else gets praise for not liking what I posted. And those cars were far from stock. I've seen some of the mods lists for some of them and granted there isn't much done to the engine, due to lack of aftermarket support, they have very extensive suspension work done.

And yeah those VIP'ed out cars are sick as shit. Which is what I intend on doing to mine at some point somehow.

And I'll be back with some more additions of sweet cars hehe.

It's as good a call as any. I hope I get to own myself an ap1 at some point. Moving to the coast again I'm going to need a drop top. AP1's seem to have dropped right around the 10k mark if you look hard enough too so it might be closer than I think for one.

Some AP1s out there can be had for cheap, especially if you're willing to go to the US. Be weary of condition and mileage at those years though...try to get a 2003.
