My buddy said it would be ok but if you look at the bottom of the blade its a little split into 2.
Is it done for?
Anyone ever try stickfix?

Its done.

I was never into the one-pieces, but I seem to remember you can saw off the blade enough so that you can put a wood one in. That would be worth doing because wood blades are so much better.

You would have to use the other end of the stick (butt end) if you are going to put a blade in it. The flex will not be the same, that stick is done.

you can take it to B&P Cycle and ask what they can do and for how much.

You can fix it at stick fix and they can make it good as new

Go to Stickfix!
They give you the same warranty as the manufacturer, not to mention you can buy the same repaired stick for less!

I have been using my repaired XXX goalie stick for around 6 months... that almost unheard in terms of durability for those sticks. He can also give you a type of 'clear bra' for the sticks that makes them more durable.
Great guy, and a number of guys on my team use them with great experience.

I beleive its www.stickfix.com and the guy is located in Douglasdale..

Depends on how much the stick is worth to you. I think sitckfix charges about $35-50 for repairs, since this is blade damage their repairs won't affect the flex of the stick like a shaft repair would.
If the stick is worth $50 or less to you then I would just say go out and buy a new one.

Yeah I've tried emailing them but no reply. I guess I'll give them a call. Thanks.

Is there anywhere else that fixes composite sticks? Stickfix is charging me $70 for the blade. If not I might as well get a new stick.

You can also buy repaired sticks from Stickfix.. cheaper then retail and Cliff gives you the exact same warranty...

Oh, and he also gives you a 30day warranty on the places he fixes... so if your stick is worth more the $70, its worth it!Not to mention he can also wrap your stick in a 3m (hood type) plastic which makes it very durable.

(I will be using him again very shortly for my XXX goalie sticks..)
