Macs AAA Midget tourney

Anyone follow this at all. I've gone pretty much every year. Like to see who stands out. Last time Sydney Crosby was in Calgary (before this years Pit game) was as an unkown 15 yr old.
This year Russia has one team in it.

You wouldn't believe the speed and size of some of these kids. all 15 - 17 yr olds. Great hockey and you get to see a lot of junior and nhl scouts there.

Ron McLean and Kelly Hrudey usually show up too.

Ongoing right now. Games all day at Max Bell, David Bauer and others. I like the Bell though. Thats the main one. Goes til Jan 1, when the boys gold medal game is played at the 'Dome
