is this us salvaged or CAD salvaged? IIRC a stolen vehicle does not get a salvaged title in Canada

^it does sometimes, but it is pretty rare..usually it would have been stripped or just some of the more expencive parts stolen off of the vehicle (seats, wheels, engine, body panells etc...)

was the stolen parts replace by insurance or the car was written off and then salvage bought and car replaced?

bump for a beautiful car, makes me regret selling my teg, and it wasn't nearly this nice. And I say everyone stop hasslin about the rebuilt title, go take a look at the car first before all the bs questions about whether it was bought at an auction or not. The car looks gorgeous and has a pretty damn good price so what does the other stuff matter as long as its a solid car?.

Are there any special procedures to be taken before registering and insuring a vehicle with a rebuilt title?

tom_9109

In Alberta the vehicle needs to have an inspection to prove its safe and the damage has been repaired.

Consistency across all cylinders is the most important thing. Lower numbers may be due to other factors including how many times it was cranked, if the gas was at wot, and if the car was at operating temperature.

it mostly depends on what compression tester is used
