Drag Warz Rules And Regulations
Basic Participant Rules:
Set-Up and Roll-In
Set-up and Roll-In will be from 10:00 am to 12:00 noon Saturday August 24, 2002. Event Staff will direct you to the section you are participating in. If you wish to park together as a crew you should arrive as a crew. All participants and spectators will be required to sign a waiver upon entry failure to do so will result in removal from the event.
General Rules and Requirements
Show cars must be clean and presented in a show like fashion. Cars/Bikes that do not follow a show standard will be asked to leave the show sections.
Drag Racing will be street-style meaning a flag starts you and a flag declares the winner.
Track official’s word is final NO EXCEPTIONS!
Drag participants are required to wear a DOT approved helmet. THIS IS MANDATORY! All Drag vehicles are subject to an inspection before being allowed to race. Any vehicle/bike deemed unsafe will not be allowed to race.
A Slalom/Road course will also be set up on site to participate in this event all above rules also apply.
Displays/Booths
Displays and booths are available at a cost of $250 these booths must be booked by August 17, 2002. Contact Rob or Nicole Willis at (403) 250 –1772 or e-mail

Displays and Booths must be of a presentable nature. Disruptive, objectionable, or inappropriate booths/displays, as interpreted by event staff, will be removed at exhibitor’s expense. NO SALE OF MERCHANDISE PERMITTED unless approved by Event Staff.
Venue
All refuse must be placed in proper containers. Any damage or vandalism to property , or Red Deer Regional Airport will result in criminal charges being pressed.
Late Arrivals
Placement will be on a first come first serve basis. In order to guarantee participation in the show you should arrive early. Participants arriving for set-up after roll-in time can be placed in any location specified by event staff, or will forfeit their show participation rights.
Cancellations
Once a contract has been signed, written notice must be given 2 weeks prior to the event.
In order to cancel participation in the event. All monies are non-refundable.
Amendments
a) Event staff has the full power in the interpretation and enforcement of all terms, rules and regulations as well as any stipulations considered necessary for the proper conduct of the show.
b) Participants agree to comply with all standards and rules set forth by judges and organizers of Drag Warz.
c) Participants failure to comply with such terms, rules, and regulations shall entitle Drag Warz to terminate its obligations under contract.
d) Participants agree to accept, under reasonable conditions, the final judgment and award of prizes of the judges of same event.
e) Participants agree to comply with all pertinent laws, codes and regulations of municipal or other authorities, which affect the display space.
f) Pornographic material, or material that is deemed to be unacceptable by show management personnel, in or around your vehicle will constitute automatic disqualification!
The bottom line is that all cars/bikes and participants must co-operate fully in order to be eligible for participation in the show.
