Recently changed the deck and speakers in my 2000 Civic.
Driver side mirror vibrates and giggles from the bass, as does the rear view.
Anything I can do to supress the movement?? Kinda annoying.

sorry did i say vibrate? i meant RATTLE! It rattles like a dirty slut :(.
This is without a sub during daily driving. One night the window came off its track, so i had to fix it. It was a gay fricken thing to fix, and ever since it rattles like no other.

I have a 96 civic, and a pretty hard pounding system as well.
all my mirrors vibrate, think it's gonna be like that if ur volume is loud... turn it down and u won't get the problem, mostly it's your sub... or if u let your front speakers deliver the bass.
Nothing much u can do abt it, just live w/ it like me i guess

It doesn't just vibrate with the bass.. it vibrates with speed. Like once you get over 60, the air or something just jostles it about. The faster I go, the more the damn mirror vibrates. Took it too the dealership when I first bought the car. Some chump-of-the-month took her out for a drive around the cul-de-sac, comes back and says "It doesn't vibrate." :banghead:

Ah, I remember that too. But you should have cranked up your stereo and then bitched.

No, sub here, yet...
the front door has tweeters and woofers. But even the stock speakers were loud enough to make the mirror vibrate

yea ummmmmm......a woofer is a sub.......did i just miss something......???

and i dont know what you guys are complaining about......having your mirrors shake is all the fun.......if nothing in my car shook i would feel like my bass was insufficient.......now as for actual pieces of the car rattling and decreasing sounds quality......thats gayyyyy....but mirrors are fun......especially when the person behind you is looking at you in your rear view, and you know they hatin.......

my subs hit so hard......my rearview shakes and im constantly readjusting it cuz it'll move around and i'll be lookin at my back seat....haha

Actually, you can get normal car speakers with dual tweeters and woofers, and it's not considered a 'sub'. Doesn't pound like a sub, but still makes great noise. Sony and Clarion and just about everyone else makes them.
