I don't really know much about it and I went to their site to try and get more info but there are hundreds of pages to read. What are the benefits of this (in a nutshell)? Is this really worth the $88.00 a month? My parent's have been paying this for awhile now but I don't think they have been taking advantage of this (I'm not sure if they have since I don't really know much about the plan)

Or am I just a complete noob and everyone has to pay this lol?

Once you turn 21 then you have to have your own healthcare number. For a single person its $44 per month. If you're a student or have a low income you can qualify for premium assistance.

If you spend a lot on perscription and such you should consider extended benefits from Blue Cross. its only another $22 per month and will cover up to $25,000 worth of perscriptions, ambulance rides, private hospital rooms etc.
