LOL...yeah I won't be too worried about her if she gets hit by someone. I just hope she feels them and doesn't drive off with some "smart car" wedged under her bumper! lol.

See the engine on that? 7.4L!!!! The ole' Chev 454, baby!!! I wonder how many "gallons to the mile" I'll get ;)

Damn comfortable ride though.

Nope, IE7. When I click the link it just goes to the Auto Trader site. Doesnt show me cars or anything.

Nice ride though. My neighbor has a suburban like that, had a couple actually. Tows a big boat with it. Not a bad ride.

I like it!

Hope your wife knows how to drive well, that thing would be a bitch to park... but jesus... imagine stuff you could put in that thing.. that would be awesome for camping.

lol...yeah its huge. The wife was driving it..looked in the rear view mirror and says "holy shit its a long way to the back of this thing" ROFL.

Ah, she's always been comfortable driving big vehicles. I had a supercab long box truck and she drove it like nothing. She doesn't like cars..doesn't like being low to the ground, so she loves this.

We'll use it to tow a big trailer for camping (28 footer). 10,000 lb towing capacity. It also came with the high performance chip, I guess the previous guy used it for when he was towing.

how the fuck is this SUV different than any of the extended versions of the regular suburbans/yukon all over the city? you guys act like you've never seen these things before.

It's als not hard to drive or park if you are a guy, but it is if you are OLD, a Female or BOTH.

its actually the same length as any extended cab with standard box. shorter than a crew cab truck. It just looks big.

Before my dad switched to imports he had a '96 GMC Suburban SLT with the 7.4L V8. That truck was a pig. We eventually traded it for the 2000 model with the 5.7L when they were redesigned. Nice trucks, I learned to drive on our newer one.

It's not that hard to park a truck after you've driven one for a bit - just have to remember when you're going into a stall that it's a 2 point turn to get in that's all.

Maddog55

I've never seen so much talk about parking a truck...haven't any of you driven anything bigger than an import? Both my wife and I have driven trucks and vans for years. Any Chevy/ford supercab is longer than this suburban.

As for a 2 point turn to get into a parking stall????? What...you've never backed into a stall? easiest way to park a long vehicle is to back it in, no two-point nothin...and getting out is easier.

lol..you all sound like a bunch of noob drivers. Tell me...do those imports come in "mens"?

I always have a hell of a time parking my 59 Impala, no power steering and no power brakes. I'll take your tip Maddog55 to back up into stalls.

Easiest way to park a long vehicle is to find a pull-through spot.

Hahaha....wow....bunch of Vag's.

I'd expect "that's gonna be hard to park" from my girlfriend who drives a civic....but from supposed car guys.....:thumbsdow I'd like to see you guys try to back up a trailer.

Beyond needs to harden the fuck up.

Shoulda got a 6.5 diesel though, that 454 is gonna be a pig when towing especially.

I burn twice the fuel towing my car with a 5.9 hemi than i do with a cummins.

^ HAhahaha....now THERE's a "guys" guy who GETS it!!

Arrrgh arrgh arrgh.......CUMMINS!!...NOW my nipples are hard! Yeah we're eventually going to go with a Cummins. This thing is basically just a filler until we can get something newer. I'm looking at a Dodge mega cab with Cummins in it. Chip it up to 900+ HP!!

I'm expecting to get under 10mpg's when pulling a trailer with this 454. It has a performance chip sitting in the glovebox... so I'm curious to see what difference that will make when plugged in.
