The laptop wasnt dropped. A picture frame that is on my desktop table fell and hit it with the corner of the picture frame. Other then that the computer is in really good shape.

The chip is gonna be repaired by a Mac dealer within the next week.

do you have pictures of the repaired crack? can you notice it at all?

how old is the laptop? do you have the recipt?
