This place is located where the old Elephant and Castle pub use to be. Has anyone been here or heard anything about it?

I went there. I'm not a fan of baller food. I ordered Chicago Deep Dish Pizza once I got home .

edit - I ordered the pizza on the way home so I can eat it by the time I got home lol.

If you're on my facebook, my new years album has pics of every dish we were served.

I dunno if it's usually a "baller place", but it's definately baller/yuppie food haha. I'm too simple a person to enjoy that shit lol.

We ended up paying something like $300/person after a few rounds of drinks. The dinner alone was 155/person, but that may be just new years pricing.

It's a nice place tho. I enjoyed the evening there.

I think it was pretty good. Something a lot more unique and upscale than most places. All the hostesses and servers were absolutely great. They aren't officially open yet, but look out for their grand opening bash soon.

There isn't one owners as there are several partners involved. Other projects involove Tangerine, Mynt, Luckys, and Bungalow.

Their Head Chef = Number 1 Chef.

I just ate there on Monday

The decor is very nice but the food is just average.

The biggest pet peave is ordering something on the menu and the waitress telling me they can't serve it because they don't have the ingredients.:banghead:

I tried ordering their Kobe Beef Burger

So instead I had their House Burger which was half the price $16 and it was OK.

My guest ordered the gnocchi and she didn't like it.

We also ordered one app, the bruschetta with Tiger prawns??? What a bizzare combo. Then when we get it, there are 5 little shrimp instead of the 3 big Tiger Prawns that she explained came with the dish.

The Menu's are very bizarre and don't offer a very nice selection.

I would give it a thumbs down on the food, but a thumbs up for ambience.

The servers weren't too bright either.

ive been to few different supper clubs out east in Montreal during F1, and they were loads of fun. The food was fantastic, but super expensive.

I didn't like it there either. Our waitress looked as though she belonged in freaky porn. Like the total kind of girl that would leave huge gashes in your back. Not very classy is what I'm getting at.

The food was pretty weak sauce as well. Chicago Deep Dish afterwards was necessary. :)

Sweet, im going to a private party there pretty soon, so i guess as long as the ambience is good then it should be a great time. weirdest thing though, even though they are letting people take the place over they still want it 21 and up, only 3 guys under 21 are aloud to go or something...

yeah the owners of this place and the mynt were always picky about who they let in ,i guess what they want is more mature people in their clubs , they dont want some 18 yrolds starting shite always ,which is fair to say

The waitress "accidentally" charged $600 bucks to my buddies credit card a couple weeks ago at Tangerine.

edit: this was after we had already left

I went to the grand opening bash on Friday night. Ambience 10/10, drinks 10/10, prices I can't say because I didn't have to pay for anything, but the appetizers were horrible, I would have to say the food was 4/10.

That said, I've never seen so many beautiful women in 1 place in Calgary, I had an amazing time there, I'll have to check it out again on a regular night though.

When dining there, remember they throw you out around 10.30 to turn it into a club. Unfortunately chef Paul McGreevy sold out I guess as it was a major step down not a lateral move from St Germain. Too bad, but he's young and probably enjoys the female company there !!
