Skyline gts-t wtf?

ok so i was lookin at my skyline today and i saw this wierd tube coming from the dash on the drivers side under the seat followed by some power cords of some variation
when starting my car i realized the tube sucks air into the tube and when you rev the engine it blows air out of the tube
any ideas on what this is or could of been ill post some pictars later

maybe its for a boost gauge but the placement seems off.... maybe its to blow hot air up your ass? :dunno:

sounds like a line for your boost gauge or the car had a boost controller and it was removed?? having trouble with vacuum?

It's a performance meter that came on skylines, it's just missing the readout. You've already got the gist of it though through simple observation. When your skyline is running/idling it just sucks, when it's driving (making revs) it blows. The harder you drive it, the more it blows.

Either a boost gauge or the car has the factory map sensor mounted on the interior and the hose fell off.

If it is number two you should figure out where it goes, and soon. It could be running pretty lean without the corrected boost fuel map adders.

well i only drove it out and parked it and admired it
as the owner of the place that i bought the car off of let me use his D plates to transport my car without the huge headache of getting insurance and an in transit sticker,

so could someone please explain this to to an ill-informed individual, and i know how pictures is spelt pictars is e-slang
if i knew what it was i wouldnt of asked
so if your not going to help me dont post in MY thread

That is most likely from an old boost gauge or boost controller.

or some type of vacuum gauge.

Speaking of GTS-T's there has been one sitting outside my work for like 4 days, maybe blew the motor from playing to much drift king. i hate jdm, but this thing actually looks fairly clean - the ractive exaust.

tape off the wires. plug the vacuum line and hide. or go get a boost gauge and see if it works.
