u sure it was a testerossa
thiers models that look like testerossa....was it a true convertable, or like the 355 gt thing or whatever, with just the little part on the top pops off?

it drove by pretty fast so i couldn't take a good look.. but it seems like a teterossa. definitly a full top off. not one of those targa glass top off thingy. the color look custom too

Last week,I going on Mission Rd heading towards downtown and 4st, and I did see a Ferrari Testarossa Convertible...not targa or pop-off roof...it was red with a middle aged gentlemen driving it. It was 100% a Testarossa as I going 40km/hr and he was stuck behind a Echo doing like 30km/hr...and got a nice clear look. I have seen a ton of 348 spyders which look like mini-testarossa and this wasn't one. Pretty neat car.

The Green POS is NOT a Ferrari, it is a kit car. Look at it for more than 5 seconds and you will see what I mean. It is a fiero chassis with an ALL fibreglass body...:barf:

Christ...I seriously do not understand why people bash kit cars all the time.. Do people even realize how much work generally goes into a kit?

Takes a lot more work to earn the money to buy the real deal

Bingo.....give the man a prize ;).... Kit cars are pretty to look at SOMETIMES but everything under the body is WEAK!! Spending MILLIONS in R&D to attain the shape, styling and perfromance Ferraris posess, only to have it ripped off by some underground company that produces only a weak facsimile AT BEST, seems hardly justifiable at a $35,000 turnkey price. That's not work, it's cheating.

Those out there with Replica Ferrari's are the ULTIMATE ricer...enjoy your small block chevy, poseur...

The kits for the fieros that I've seen are incredibly lackluster, you aren't changing any of the underpinnings from the fiero, you're just slapping a new body on it. A Factory Five Cobra or a Caterham 7 is a different matter entirely...

:werd:....i think there should be a new rule, noone is aloud to post a "spotted ______ thread" unless there is a picture to back it up!...and with that, the lisence plate blurred out for courtesy's sake....but i also thought there were to be no more "spotted threads" anyway, so
