Man that series is just as bad as NASCAR is for having cars that don't resemble the street versions even remotely. It looks like an aborted mix between a 350Z and a LMP car.

Thats because they are built for speed, not looks.

That exhaust looks strange. In the bottom left photo in the picture it just looks like a funnel sticking out to back.
Maybe its the new thing.....fart funnel > fart can

at least this car is built for more than just left hand high speed oval driving. I swear NASCAR was developed by the same people who make those remote control snap together tracks.

edit: slot cars, thats what i meant

you are completely missing the point of nascar... im not a fan of it myself but the point of it is to battle other drivers not the course itself.

I'm a bit of a Nascar fan, and I like it purely on it is driver versus driver. Most F1 etc. races is driver versus driver but a good majority is driver versus the track.

And Nascar cars do resemble their actual cars. I mean they are all done up with sponsors and what not to the car, but when you do a pre-race inspection, they will have a metal cutout of the body of the car they will place over it to make sure it fits the model.

Other than the diffuser, it looks pretty good, very similar to the 350Z GT car.

I understand the difficulty Nascar drivers had to face. I have to battle with a million other drivers on the road during rush hour everyday and it sucks. :banghead:

I also am quite famliar with the deerfoot 500... I'm just happy I always win the race during rush hour.

It might be a GTR body (with a widebody kit) but I would be willing to bet that the engine, suspension and weight of the car have been dramatically modified.

This isn't like a RC car where they just slap a random body onto a generic chassis they built from scratch.
