LG 8600 Chocolate Flip Ringtone.

Hey y'all...I have a very quick question regarding one of my sister's celly. NO, NONE OF YOU ARE GETTING HER NUMBER!!!!...

She currently is using ths Chocolate flip and she does like it. But since my upgrading to a Berry and even on my Treo I was able to make MP3's into ringtones. She is having a hard time doing so on this phone. It plays MP3's...but can it take those files and make then into ringtones??...or is she stuck having to DL them off of Telus and pay the $3.50 or whatever it is for each one??...


Any and all help is greatly appreciated.

Yup, stuck with Telus because they "lock" the phone to make people pay $3.50/per ringer.

Certain phones can be "debranded", which means you take away the provider "lock", but not 100% about the Telus LG flip.

yah, it is locked, but they is most likely a work around, maybe check on howard forums
