does anyone know if removing the insulation, or w/e that carpet like rug on the roof of my hood, will damage the paint or warp it?

No, some trim class within the same model aren't equipped with hood insulation anyways.

Carpet on roof = Headliner, it'll be pretty cold/hot pending on weather, once the headliner is removed, it'll just be the backside of the roof skin.

naw, i just would like to hear whats going on under the hood a little more so trying to take out this hood liner deal will help a little bit! thanks for the info though
