LF: Cheap beater

Hi everyone.
So I am in need of a cheap reliable car because a friend of mine decided mine looked better in the side of a parked car.

Pretty much not too picky. I dont even care if its a car/truck/etc. I would prefer auto.

I wouldnt want to spend more then about 800$. the less...the better....If it starts and runs....I am interested in it.

I've got an 89 VW Golf. I just bought a truck so I no longer need it. Its blue on blue, 4 almost new all season tires, since i've had i've put a new driver side mirror and door handle on it, passenger side axle and wheel bearings in both sides up front. I've driven it to work everyday since the beginning of october and not once have I plugged it in and its started everytime without any problem. Only thing is its a 5-speed, and its in Red Deer. Let me know though anyways
