As the title says, lots of threads about Pho' but I want a good rice vermicelli with some good quality chicken add to it :) Anyways, Ive been to Sigon Y2K, and its not bad, I've also tryed alot of the places off international. Im just looking for something closer, something in the South, by Chinook, or without going half way across the city.

Thanks!!

Chris

try the place in Deerfoot Meadows. I think its called Le's.
Its across from the Best Buy and right beside Subway. Probably my favourite pho place in the south.

have you tried Golden Bell Siagon Across the street from chinook. It is in the same mall as sleep country.

I really like it there.

If you are further in the south try Saigon Royale, its across from Douglasdale golf course in the mini-mall by Swifty's....good stuff.

The place across the street (Bagolac) from the Chinook Station is pretty good for Vermicelli. The portion sizes are absolutely huge too and it tastes darn good too!

i actually don't like it there! the prices were higher than the other places and their serving size weren't particularly big, either. i had the curry, steamed rice and spring rolls and i was still hungry.

also, the taste wasn't any better than bagolac or golden bell...although there were some hot servers working there when we went, hehehe.

I <3 Pho Xuan! Hahahah. The prices I think went up a little I think. I went when my parents came to visit me last week or so. But still, good food.

is rice vermicelli the same as pho? or is the the kind w/o the soup?

anyways, vietnamese, best is on 17th ave SE
mee kong has an amazing curry soup with lamb
then there's binh minh, saigon, and the other shop right behind it. the only other location i like is the place near 16ave/19st NE

don't like any of the stuff u guys mentioned above:barf:
it's edible, just not the greatest or authentic (nor is the price)
