Well i suggest finding out as much as you can before going into this. Becuase it could very well turn into a big head ach. Also make sure you are prepared to pay big bucks. Because a turbo set up could cost u anywhere from 5-8 grand. Probably on the higher end of that scale if you want it to be a reliable daily driver.

Those turbo's will need a rebuild so also look into that.

^ yeah you can get a (some what) nice *new* turbo on ebay for practically nothing, I dont know why you'd search pick n' pull for some badly used junk:dunno:

A friend of mine did that turbo setup on his d series, and yes it will work, but you need to get an adapter plate made up. I think also, he used a VX manifold, the funny looking one. Cost him alot to get the adapter plate made, something like 150$.

yes you need the following

oil lines, intercooler, piping, injectors, fuel pump, fuel pressure regulator, chipped ecu, custom exhaust, and then depending on how far you are planning to go, quite possibly a clutch. If you wanna go fast, you better be able to stop, so brake upgrades too. As for the turbo, i would NOT get one from pnp unless you can find one with ZERO shaft play that hasnt eaten a bunch of rain/snow. I personally would buy somebody's who is upgrading.

thats all that comes to mind right now anyways.

hope that helped

I'm sure they do ok. Every car I ever go to look at has been picked over better than Grissom or Columbo ever could.

I try to visit pick your part at least once a month. It's like a treasure hunt.

A really ghetto turbo setup will still run you at least a grand and most of your parts will be junk.

If you go that route expect your little d15 to blow at any time.

Before you come on here and ask if a talon turbo will "fit" start by researching what is involved in creating a turbo kit.

You will see that the turbocharger itself is only one of the many many pieces of the puzzle.

Once you understand how things work and have a little more knowledge, then we can have an intelligent conversation about turbos.

Sorry if I sound harsh but we won't get anywhere with you right now with what you currently know about turbos.

If you're trying to bolt a turbo to the stock manifold, you'll need a exhaust manifold from the D15B6, which is the 8-Valve engine, with the close coupled cat. These came in the CRX Hf, and maybe the Civic CX / STD, but I'm not positive. The one from the D15B2 won't bolt onto anything except the stock manifold. But seriously, read up on it first... too much boost (or poor setup) makes con rods that want viagra.
