yeah, doing 280 on my bike is pretty sobering. I'm usually watching straight ahead, but if I look to the side (as I try not to since the air drag on the helmet pulls my head until my neck feels like a piece of well-cooked spagetti)... but the scenery passing by and the asphalt underneath me really alerts you to just how wicked of an accident you'll have at that speed.

If you were to hit a solid object at that speed......

The fact that the Veyron does the speed it does, and with everything is has is more impressive. Gut the Veyron and it would be really cool.

Veyron doesn't look as good as that though IMO.

They made fun of this car alot on top gear. Saying it wont be any where close to as good as the veyron, even though it went a few mph faster.

I think this thing looks like a cheap kit car. Dont like it at all.
Not to mention they published its weight but the weight did not include the hood, the doors, the trunk or the glass lol.

Yeah and handeling, and braking, and living with it as a everyday driver. Bugatti said they built everything on the car to last at least 20 years. Not many super cars are like this.

Yeah, its a Shelby, but not a Shelby as in a Carroll Shelby. This is a product of Shelby Supercars, hence SSC. Nothing to do with Carroll Shelby products.
