IMO the title kinda contradicts itself:

Self defense (TO ME) = Any means possible for self survival from an attacker.

Combat = Aggressive engagement of fighting :dunno: or something both parties agree to do.

Therefore, hard to lead you to the right direction.

I had a couple threads about mauy thai, krav. but all the clubs I could find were crazy expensive or packed.

I just joined at Impact Boxing, and start tomorrow. smaller place, have a bunch of different classes, and boxing is a great work out.

I agree with you. :D I'm definitely looking for a self defense course to attend and not full on combat training. I think I found what I was looking for. But thanks for your help 5.0 and TimG.

Cheers

Do you live in a war torn Country, I would hate to live somewhere that required you to take self defense courses.

Geez. Good Luck with that.

like in a city where a crackhead will pull out a boxcutter and slash your face for no reason or where weirdos try to sexually assault/kidnap children?
