These Coupe's aren't very common so it should be pretty easy to spot. Where abouts was it stolen? Have you called the impound yet?

I thought all Benz's need a key with a chip to start it? I've never heard of anyone getting a modern benz stolen, even the C coupes.

Could have been towed and stripped? Though I'm not sure they would bother with a c-coupe when they are so hard to steal. This is only the second newer Benz I've heard of being stolen, the other was in the states.

It's true. I ordered a new key last year from a MB Dealer in the States and all they asked for was the VIN... key fired right up as soon as I got it in the mail. A few others tried this too and it was the same for them but I'm sure they've changed the policy now. :eek:

I ordered a key for the W140 and it didn't even fit the ignition! Hows that for theft prevention?

Hyatt Mercedes ordered the wrong key... they replaced it for free.

my friend mom got her amg stolen in the summer can't remember wat year but she bought it for 45,000 used. it was never recover. cops told her it probbaly won't be found as most mercedez vin are easy to change ... glad to hear u have ur car back.
