FYI.. It's called Pressure Altitude. The Elevation doesn't change..

Sort of on the same topic, I remember reading that higher altitude affects NA cars (and supercharged) far more than turbo cars. (Turbo still affected, just not as much). This makes sense to me because even though the density of the air is less, the turbo stuffs it in at a certain fixed PSI (be it at sea level or at 8000 feet). My gauge reads 12 PSI here and in the Rockies.

Now is this correct or not? If not, why not?
